We believe that what we make and how we make it says more about who we are than any warm-and-fuzzy, trend-setting, planet-saving, or living-on-ramen type story. The truth is we wanted to make products we could feel good about using in our own lives, and be proud to share with our friends, families, and everyone else who understands how using essential oils can turn everyday moments into uplifting experiences.
You have to start with high-quality ingredients if you want to end up with high-quality products, so we start with the best: ethically sourced, 100% therapeutic grade essential oils, 100% certified organic carrier oils, herbs grown in the backyard, and other cruelty-free botanical ingredients that you'd be totally okay with rubbing all over your body. Not that you would. But you could, and that would be okay because they're non-toxic. We don't use any synthetic fragrances, harmful preservatives, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauryl ether sulfate, artificial colors, parabens, phthalates, or petrochemicals.
We're sure you're pretty handy and probably quite creative, but we also know that sometimes the desire for premium-quality, handmade soaps and such is scrubbed away by the desire to, well, do all the things you really need to do. That's why we do the work For you—whether it's our artisans in their workshops or our folks in the office—we pick and choose, mix and pour, and package and ship so you get great products, made by hand in small batches, sent directly to you—all without premium-quality prices.
We're not going to show you beauty shots of our pristine manufacturing Facility because we don't have one. The only time our products ever go near any facilities are when our customers put them in their bathrooms so they can wash their hands and hair with them. Occasionally, though, we'll sneak a photo of one of our artisans picking herbs for the soaps they make for us, or stirring pots of beeswax and essential oils to make our lip balms, or maybe even some of us in the office, packing your order, looking fake-happy because while we love packing up orders, we don't love having our picture taken.
